All partner schools met in Italy for the first time. In the school premises of IIS Malafarina after the Italian staff’s greetings  to the partner schools, the headmaster of the coordinating school from Bulgaria - Mr. Padoslav Hitov and his deputy - Mrs. Pavlina Zarcheva opened the meeting officially.

Mrs.Margarita Dobreva - the author of the project illustrated by the help of some PPTs the planned activities for the first half of the project’s lifetime and clarified many aspects about the use of the budget, the number of the involved people in each mobility (3/4 students and 2/3 teachers), the useful ways of dissemination in order to produce a proper impact on the community.

Then a welcome cocktail party, organized by the Italian Erasmus+ team  favoured the physical interaction among all the partners who introduced their countries and their schools and discussed project strategies to implement the planned activities. All worked on producing relevant materials and resources to make the initial steps in starting the project, workshops were carried out on what kind of educational activities would benefit the students, the activities carried out so far were evaluated and the tasks of the next phase planned. In the course of the meeting the Spanish Coordinator, Mr. Manuel Borrego presented the official website of the project.

The Italian school organized an interesting and extensive program which included their cultural heritage: Soverato sightseeing and a trip to the archeological park of Scolacium.

All the official papers were signed and the local headmaster, Mr Domenico Agazio Servello gave participants the certificates of attendance.

All in all, the first meeting of the teachers was a success both from the point of getting to know cross cultural differences and similarities and the foundation of a fruitful cooperation between the seven member countries.
